|
Answer:The exterior symptoms are generally a weakened and prostrated condition. The fowl stands drawn into a ball-like shape and the plumage is more or less ruffled. The mouth and throat are affected with false membranes of a yellow or whitishyellow color. The eyes and nasal passages may also be affected. Sometimes there is loss of voice, and the air passages in the throat may become entirely obstructed, causing death. These accumulations should be removed even to the extent of causing bleeding, after which follow the treatment suggested for roup on another page. |
