Some fowls are easily confined, and others not.

Make the fences six feet high, using a single wire at the top to stretch it, instead of tacking it to a board. If necessary, stretch a single wire across the top of the entire fence six inches above the top.

The fowls, in attempting to fly over, will strike this wire and fall back.
